Using Runnersway
Terms of use
Runnersway suggests running loops from map data. It does not check them on the ground. Please read this page before you run one.

What Runnersway is
Runnersway is a free tool operated by Gotoh Industries LLC. You choose a starting point and a distance, and it proposes loops that return near that point, with estimates such as distance, climbing and possible major-road crossings. By using the site you agree to these terms.
Routes are computer-generated and unverified
Every route is produced automatically from OpenStreetMap data and terrain data. Nobody has walked, run or inspected it. Map data can be wrong, incomplete or out of date. A route may use a path that is closed, private, unlit, flooded, under construction or unsuitable for running, and it may cross or follow roads with traffic.
The facts shown with a route, including distance, climbing, path types, stairs and road crossings, are estimates from the map. Where something is unknown we say so, but an estimate or the absence of a warning is not a statement that a route is safe, legal or accessible.
Your responsibility
You decide whether and where to run. Before and during a run, check access, crossings, closures, lighting, weather and local conditions for yourself, obey signs and local laws, and turn back if something does not look right. Consider your own health and fitness. Do not rely on Runnersway for navigation in an emergency.
Fair use
The site is for planning your own runs. Do not use automated tools to request routes in bulk, try to get around its limits, or interfere with its operation. We may limit or block use that does.
No warranty
Runnersway is provided as it is and as available, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy and availability. The service may change, be interrupted or stop.
Limit of liability
To the fullest extent the law allows, Gotoh Industries LLC is not liable for any injury, loss or damage arising from your use of Runnersway or of any route, file or information obtained from it. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
